Orlando Halloween Celebration Guide

Orlando Halloween Celebration Guide

Perhaps one of the most fun places to celebrate the Halloween season is in Orlando. The weather is cooling down and fall decorations adorn every inch of the Disney parks. It is an exciting time to explore Orlando and all the fun it offers as the holidays approach. Check out some of the must-visit Halloween events in Orlando.

Halloween Horror Nights

As it is one of the most famous of events occurring in Orlando every October, Halloween Horror Nights is our top pick. Notorious for its heart-pounding spookiness hiding in every corner, expect to have a true horror movie experience. Universal Studios comes alive with mutants, monsters and maniacs that lurk around the park and chase visitors. If you are a fan of scary movies and haunted houses, Halloween Horror Nights is your best bet.

Enzian’s 13 Films of Halloween

If you are more of a sit-back-and-watch kind of person, fear not. Enzian’s 13 Films of Halloween play at the Enzian Theater from October 3 to 31. Pop in and catch one of thirteen classic Halloween movies and sip on an assortment of Halloween-themed cocktails. Watch from your seat with a drink in hand and do not worry about any monster or mutant popping up from behind you.

Wekiva Island’s October Movie Nights

If you have little ones to entertain, a cocktail-filled movie night may not be appropriate. Instead, head over to Wekiva Island to watch more family-friendly Halloween movies. Options include The Addams Family, Hocus Pocus and Hotel Transylvania, amongst others. Movie nights are occurring every Friday evening between October 6 and 27. As a bonus, the entrance fee is only $1.

Burtonlesque: A Tim Burton Burlesque Revue

Plan a date night with your loved one and head over to The Venue on Friday, October 13 for a night full of Halloween burlesque. Inspired by the work of Tim Burton, expect an exciting, unforgettable night.

Majora’s Masquerade

Not a burlesque fan? Do not fret. Throw on your dancing shoes and go on over to The Geek Easy for the third annual Majora’s Masquerade on October 14. Party with friends, grab a themed cocktail and dance to Halloween music all night. Cover is $5 and age limit is 18 and up.

American Ghost Adventures Greenwood Cemetery Tour

Feeling adventurous? On either October 20 or 27 head to the Greenwood Cemetery for a two-hour guided tour of the historically spooky location. Listen to some history and ghost stories and even conduct a ghost hunt. Expect a night you will not soon forget. Tickets are $40.
